Allana Ferguson bio
Allana began her career with Australia in Rugby Sevens back in 2013. After suffering multiple knee injuries over the years, Allana switched to rugby union. The first time Allana played in a rugby league game for women came in 2015. Her performance was impressive against Queensland and represented New South Wales. Allana's radio career has grown since she is a regular on the 2GB Continuous Call Team, a highly rated program. Allana does not only a sporty person and a teacher, but has also earned a the degree of an educator, has an extensive background beyond sports. Allana Ferguson holds the rare honor of playing for Australia in three different sports: rugby sevens along with touch and rugby league. Jillaroos' superstar Allana Ferguson has been required to put an abrupt ending to her rugby league career following a tear to her ACL a fourth time. Ferguson, 25, was able to tear her ACL on the same spot between age 15-17, and then 20. Following a third tear, she realized that it was now time to put an end to her. Ferguson was the JILLAROOS team's lead player. The decision to leave was due to her fourth left ACL injury. Ferguson has confirmed to The Courier Mail that she had the injury while training during November. She was a female player of the Women's Rugby League over the course of several seasons.
